無用動物測試Avon大話精 太陽日報 2012年03月08日
國際化妝品公司雅芳（Avon）在其英國網站，聲稱超過二十年沒有為產品進行動物測試。早前有關注動物權益人士向英國當局投訴，指網站上陳述並不真確，雅芳隨即將網站上有關陳述刪除。
雅芳英國網站指自一九八九年起，已是其中一間帶領暫停進行動物測試的化妝品公司。然而，雅芳國際網站上言明，去年在一百多個國家售出的九千多款產品中，有少於百分之零點三經過動物測試。
作出投訴的動物維權人士萊昂斯指出，每種產品或材料需進行多達十五種毒性測試，單是其中一種已可能殺死逾千隻動物。
化妝品公司的產品經動物測試後才能推出市場，原來人類的美麗需要付上代價的。

Thus,animal experiments for cosmetics purposes should be stopped.

This is exactly a scandal of "beast and beauty".
回覆刪除Beasts - being the female human beings who wear cosmetics as masks, to hide away their true faces at the back of the "lying faces" everyday.
Beauty belongs to all such unfortunate animals as guinea-pigs.
Shame on human civilization!
